"HOW TO ROCK CHEMO"
Aglow cares about helping cancer patients get through chemotherapy with color. Chemotherapy drugs may leave radiant skin looking dull and pale. An Aglow application can artificially enhance color in order to offset this appearance. An Aglow specialist will match your complexion and bring the color back to the skin. Cancer care recipients may receive an Aglow application by making a minimal $25 donation to one of the following charities. Together, we can inspire change. http://www.imermanangels.org Imerman Angels connects a person fighting cancer today ("cancer fighter") with someone who has beaten the same type of cancer ("cancer survivor"). The relationship provides a fighter the opportunity to ask personal questions and receive encouragement from someone who is uniquely familiar with the situation. The relationship provides a survivor the opportunity to personally help a fighter as he or she battles the disease. This is a young not-for-profit charity. Jon Imerman is a 32 year old, two-time testicular cancer survivor and manages to raise money and awareness through groundbreaking fundraising and networking. He also connects caregivers. Words cannot explain the depth of his work. He is truly a humanitarian and has given people worlds of hope during these difficult times. http://www.coutureforcancer.org Couture for Cancer, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that donates custom made non-surgical hair replacement systems completely free of charge, to any person suffering hair loss due to cancer and chemotherapy treatments. Our mission is to assist cancer patients during this difficult time in their life by boosting their self-confidence and personal outlook after the devastating loss of their hair. Through both private and public donations, combined with the proceeds from the sale of our clothing line and health and beauty products, we are having an enormous, direct impact on people living with cancer, nationwide. "HOW TO ROCK CHEMO" is provided by the owners of Aglow. Jessica D'Andrea, 35, part owner/ activist, is currently fighting breast cancer and going through chemotherapy and radiation. Her resilient outlook and desire to keep going has been fueled by the above mentioned charities. Please take the time to educate yourself about early detection and regular screenings. |
